Thanksgiving is America’s feast day—a holiday devoted to celebrating our blessings, family, friends, and the rich harvest that adorns our tables. Our plates are piled high with roasted turkey, stuffing, root vegetables, and pie. With such a distinctly American spread, isn’t it fitting to drink something that’s equally homegrown?

One of the largest orchards in Massachusetts has just cut its utility bill 80% with a $1.1 million 220 KW solar power plant. The state of Massachusetts helped Carlson Orchards with grants totaling $595,000 to help in the installation of the 1,050 solar photovoltaic panels.

In mid November, we delivered our sixth donated truckload of apple cider to the Greater Boston Food Bank to support their efforts in reducing the increased food insecurity that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought on.
